I have a 2016 Platinum I bought used. On the front bucket seats, on the side of the bottom cushion next to the center console, the seat cover material is fabric instead of leather. (or whatever leather-like material the rest of the seat cover consists of).

The second row seats are also bucket seats with a center console, and these are all leather, no fabric on the inside surface.

Is that normal for the front seats? Thanks.

Yes, it's normal. They save on leather cost where it cannot be seen. All of my leather seats going back 12 years have been that way.

My Platinum has fabric on the console side of the front seats.

The seats are just seat covers with leatherette top.
when i was at dealer they specifically worded it this way - "the part that touches your body is leather".
the rest is fabric like you see & vinyl-so-the entire side & back of front seats and all of 3rd row-that aint leather.
On 1st glance it may look that way...
