2016 limited with the 3.5L V6, 131,000 miles, fwd with the towing package. It started about a month ago. When accelerating it makes a loud growling sounds almost like there is no muffler. Its a very low tone and its worse in the mornings and usually is when its in 1, 2, and sometimes 3rd gear and then just phases out. It shifts fine, there's no slippage or jolts. I brought it to a mechanic to have the oil pressure sensor changed and they said they couldn't replicate it and would like to keep it overnight but I haven't done that yet. I checked the exhaust as best as I could and do not see anything lose or a hole.

I was concerned it may be the torque converter as I've been told the seal is starting to go, but its not leaking, there's fluid every time I check it. All the other fluid levels are fine and look clean. I'm just worried this may be an expensive fix and I should just trade it in, otherwise its been a great vehicle.
