2018 Explorer, fuel and AutoGuide

Take a look at what this list shows as fuel requirements for the 2018 Explorer engines.
All the turbo engines are listed as needing Premium Unleaded.
I know what the 2016 and 2017 Owner's Manual says, wonder if there has been a change.
Maybe related to the exhaust smell??

The 2018 Owner's Manual has not changed from previous ones. It still shows the following;
Your vehicle is designed to operate on
regular unleaded gasoline with a minimum
pump (R+M)/2 octane rating of 87 or
regular unleaded gasoline blended with a
maximum of 85% ethanol (E85).

For best overall vehicle and engine
performance, premium fuel with an octane
rating of 91 or higher is recommended.
