2019 Explorer?

Question - is the 2019 a redesign, or the 2020? When does the 2018 order window stop and the 2019 start?

Considering a new Sport.

The 2020 model will be the redesigned one and will in all likelihood be available in mid to late 2019. Therefore I would expect little or no changes to the 2019. Look for the 2019 to be a 'short model' year.
According to the Ford production schedule, the last day to order a 2018 is June 1st. Orders for 2019 models will be accepted beginning June 13th with production scheduled to begin September 10th. BTW, the Sport is being dropped for 2020 to be replaced with an ST version.

Thanks! From what I found on the net, I assumed the 2020 was the redesign. I need to replace my 2014, but can probably wait a year. I'm just not sure I want to dive into the 2020 as I'll be the guinea pig, I'm sure. The 2019 is the old style, but will have a nice set of features and be sorted out in large part. I also wonder if the pricing will go up a lot on the 2020...hmm..?

The 2019 Explorer will start production on September 10th. Final date for orders for the 2019 is November 2, 2018.
