2020-2022 A pillar trim removal

I've been thinking about getting that plastic trim piece on the A pillar painted body color. How hard or easy is it to remove? And does anyone know the part #'s for them?

And before you ask, I'm not a fan of the floating roof look you get with black trim on the A pillar. I also plan on having the mirror caps painted too.

I don't know about the 6th gen 'A' pillars but the 5th gen were held on with clips that have to be replaced when installing a new 'A' pillar as they tend to break. This is from the 5th gen forum and may provide some insight.

Explorer 'A' pillar replacement

On the passenger side, the black plastic cover on the top is no longer latched. I can see that the plastic mounting piece has split. What's this thing called (or part number) and where's the best place online to buy it? Thanks for your help.

BTW, I've never considered/noticed it to be a floating roof even though that is what it is portrayed to be.
