Window stickers update every 7 days.. it means nothing.. it's just how Ford's system works. The 1st -5th.. 6th, 7th, 8th etc will all be the same thing.

Good to know. So which version of the window sticker is affixed to the vehicle? First one?

That really Sucks, have you tried calling the Ford number and asking them whats going on? (1-800-392-3673) they were pretty helpful when I called them.

FWIW, I called Ford Customer Service as suggested. While they were courteous, they didn't have access to status information beyond what I can get at the Ford Vehicle Order Tracking website:

Ford Vehicle Order Tracking

I plan to contact my sales guy and see if he can find out why my Explorer has been "In Production" for a month.

The first one. All subsequent ones should be exactly the same except for the weekly date change.

Why do you say a month? It takes a week for production (24hours to build but the system has to organize osrts, paint them and assign them in order so they are all sync'd up on the assembly line. If production started on the 25th as you say, that's 3 days into the 7 day window before shutdown. When it resumed on the 8th, that puts you around the 10th-12th for completion. You are roughly 5 days past the production/completion date.

Is there a reason you dont want to post your VIN (just curious), it's like license plates, it is available to anyone who sees your vehicle in person lol.

I'll try to have it looked at today if you want.

Edit - nevermind, you got your answer on blueoval.

The reason I'm saying one month is because my sales guy sent a status update to me on June 17. That's the first day that status showed as "In Production." Today is July 17, so it's been a whole month with status unchanged.

Due to the delays and with a reported 18,000 or so Explorers sitting in a lot I'm guessing we'll be seeing a few more of those posts.;)

Peter. Mine has a built date of the week of the 8/5/19 and built date is listed as Friday, 8/9/19. I know all of these dealer orders and early orders have been recalled and many are needing to replace things. I hope mine is made on 8/9 and then shipped via truck to NY. I don't think that mine will lag behind all of these 18,000 explorers that are being held back because of Fords errors. I hope when they built mine on 8/7/19, I will get it in 2 week period. No trains will be involved.

Take this for what it is worth.. I have been told that if an Explorer is not on a truck now, then they are not going anywhere at the moment.

If this is true, then yours is not going anywhere.

This may he why Ford has not pulled any orders from dealers to schedule them the past 2 weeks. I'll know on Saturday if Ford pulled any or if we are now at 3 weeks without scheduling.

At least yours has changed some. My status has been "In Production" and "Sent offsite" since it was built on 7/16 with no change. I am talking to the dealer about trying to find one that has been delivered somewhere at this point since I have no clue when (or if) it will ship. Really disappointed with Ford's production communication (or lack thereof).

Maybe a parts issue, only the plant knows or more complicated problem with the 19C06 recall since it is showing incomplete. Hopefully you can find one locally. It will likely just show up on it's on the day you get another one. My ST is scheduled in about 2 weeks with a SN over 77,000 so they have made a lot of 2020 explorers. I have been told that ST's are expected to be close to 20% of the production.

The recall includes 13,896 vehicles in the U.S. and 239 in Canada built at Ford’s Chicago Assembly plant this year. Explorers built there from March 27 to July 24 and Aviators built from April 10 to July 24 are affected.

Most of the affected vehicles are still in dealer inventory, according to Ford.
