2020 Ford Explorer ST
Hello Everyone,

For a while now I have had a few issues with my 2020 Explorer ST. The first was a rear park aid fault which was finally solved recently by the dealer. The front left inner fender connector came off somehow. In addition to that issue, a while back I bought an OBD link mx+ scan tool, and every time I scan my car using the OBD link app on enhanced network B, I get three different U codes. The codes I get are listed below. The first two codes cannot be cleared, and the third one I can clear but it always comes back. The dealer told me that there is nothing they can do and that ford is aware of the issue. They told me they are working on a computer upgrade so these codes can be cleared out and that they mean nothing since I have no other issues or CEL light. Does this sound right to you all or are they just giving me the runaround? I also attached screenshots.

U0100-00 Lost Communication With (ECM)/(PCM) --- ECU: Audio Control Module
U0293-00 Lost Communication With Hybrid Powertrain Control Module --- ECU: Audio Control Module
U0415-00 Invalid Data Received From (ABS) Control Module --- ECU: Image Processing Module B

What the dealer said may be correct. For one thing. the U0293-00 code wouldn't apply to the ST since it isn't a Hybrid. That said, I don't believe anyone else has reported this issue and several members have the OBD scanners.

I kind of figured the 293 code didn't apply but biggest concern is the 100 and 415 codes.

Dealer is correct, U codes mean nothing.
