2021 Climate Controls on XLT

My Wife just traded in her 2019 Explorer XLT for a 2021 Explorer XLT. We were surprised that there is no "Climate" control button on the Sync display screen. The 2019 had all the climate controls built into the touch screen, and now they are not there. There is a "menu" button on the dash climate control panel, which brings up a limited amount of climate controls on the Sync screen but no where near what the 2019 had.

Does anyone know if there is an update to add the climate control options to the Sync screen?

Welcome to the Forum WP.
Unless it can be done using FORScan, there is not software update from Ford for that.

I don't know how to do it via Forscan but should be 100% possible If you have an 8" screen. Sync is carried over from other vehicles that have climate control screens. They just disable it on newer vehicles with physical climate controls for simplicity
