Found a local dealer that is offering invoice pricing with no gottchas like another. None of that paint protection and nitrogen fill BS for $2500. Another said I had to get the "Protection Package" and HAD to use Ford Motor Credit for financing.

Timeline - Latest update in red.
- Order date 07 Feb 2022
- VIN sent via email 03 March 2022
- Original scheduled build date 18 April 2022
- Updated build date week of 21 March 2022
- Checked 15 March 2022 and it is in production
- Window Sticker available from forddirect.com - it shows -$50 for auto start/stop removal, -$100 2nd Row Heated Seat Control removal, and -$50 Rear Aux Controls
- Looks like a blend date of 220322 so the updated build date sent to me is probably correct. I assume I will have to go back at some point for the rear controls, but I'd rather have the car now than wait for something as simple as that. 16 March 2022
- In Production 22 Mar 2022
- Build Complete 22 Mar 2022 - received email of completion and testing beginning. Estimated delivery 7-14 April to Atlanta area.
- I think a slight change happened where the tracking site shows "Your vehicle has been built and we are arranging shipment to your dealer. This step could take a few days to a week." I also received a call from my dealer saying they expect the car by the 2nd week of April. - 29 March 2022
- Shipped to dealer (noticed on website) 07 April 2022 - Site updated to show my Explorer is in transit.
- Went through "your vehicle is recalled" to "your vehicle isn't recalled."
- Purchase complete 5/13/22
