Yup! And received the order confirmation from Ford on 9/1/21. But not a thing since. Dealer even deleted auto start stop at the end of September for me, once I realized that was an option and May speed things up. Currently considering a 21 platinum on the lot. I can’t wait past December for the vehicle unfortunately. Baby #3 was born today!

Per Friday's FDNB (Fleet Distribution News Bulletin), the updated scheduling and production timetable has been released for the 2021/2022MY Explorer.

• 06/25/2021 - 2021MY Fleet Final Order Due Date
• 08/19/2021 - 2021MY Last Day to Spec Change
• 11/08/2021 - 2021MY Balance Out Date
• 07/30/2021 - 2022MY Order Bank Open Date
• 09/23/2021 - 2022MY Scheduling Begins
• 11/08/2021 - 2022MY Job #1 Date

Our first build date was the week of 12/20 and last week I got an update to the week of 11/22

We went from the 2000 XLT to a 2008 Edge Sel then to a 2009 Flex Sel so I was posting in those forums

Congratulations on the new arrival… our experience took a strange turn… the 22 XLT was built the week of 11/22 and delivered to our local dealer 11/29… however we thought we had ordered an split rear bench and what we got was the two captains chairs… is we refused the 22 and they found a new 21 same color and options with a split bench at another nearby dealer so we bought that one last night 12/9….

We are in SE Wisconsin… the Chicago Assembly plant is about 1hr 45mins from here….

Ordered a 2022 Explorer King ranch 2/7/2022, had dealer remove the Auto Start/Stop because we were told this may speed things up, haven’t heard a peep... Anxiously waiting. Was hoping to have the car by the end of May, but not looking good at this point.
