2022 Ford Explorer XLT
Hello!
Forgive me if I’m not doing this right… first post!

I just got a 2022 Explorer XLT. I was using my Apple CarPlay with music and trying to adjust the treble/bass when all of a sudden my audio went into an “off” state, and I can’t seem to fix it.

I already tried the soft reset (audio on button and fast forward), as well as the hard reset. I’ve left the car off for 20+ minutes, and even went as far as checking the fuses under the dashboard (fuse numbers 15 and 32), but nothing seems to fix the issue.

Please help!

can you check what the SYNC version you have? The newest is 23188

I would also run a diagnostic to see if there are any codes.

Hello. I just checked, and it’s currently at 3.4.21194. I will update it to the 3.4.23188 and keep you updated!

Also I would recommend updating doing a download to a flash drive for the update.

Hello Dale. Just completed the update via USB. Shut off the car, opened/closed the door, and started the car again per ford instructions.

Unfortunately no luck:/

Rats. About the only other thing I can think of is to disconnect the battery for a half hour or so. It might help.

I’ll give

I’ll give that a shot tonight or tomorrow when I won’t be in the rain doing it. I’ll keep you posted.
