That's very cool. The 1st gear ratio will be about 20:1 given the 10 speed and a 4.70:1 R&P set.

Yeah, and the transmission is the new kind with optional manual controls for it. The transfer case would be interesting, they didn't even mention that. I'd wonder if it's an old school type like the BW4406 or earlier, simple and stronger than the later kinds.

Somewhere I saw that they were using an F150 transfer case.

Very good, it seems most of the late stuff has more electronics and complications. I want one of the late six speeds, but with an older TC. Options are good though.
