2nd gen 01 cluster upgrade question

Hello, i put an 01 sport white cluster from the junk yard in my 97 ex, and everything works EXCEPT the 4wd lights. This was off a 2wd ex but I thought they were all the same. Yes I put in the 2 missing lights in the back. And yes they work with the old panel in. Anyone have suggestions??

Drive type matters with the white/silver gauges.

The white gauge face isn't printed with the indicators on 2wd rigs.

Your choices are to live with it or look for a 4x4 cluster.
