Yes you can use those. I bought a 3" lift kit and cut the blocks down to 2" and bought my own hardware from Fastenal. You can buy the 2" blocks. I bought the kit because I wanted the bumper brackets. I modified them for the 2" lift. Here is a guide for the bolt lengths.

Did you need to extend the steering column with the two in lift?
 






No, I didn't. I did however replace my steering shaft and universal joint a short time before that, but not related to the lift.
 






Awesome, I am getting the blocks. The bolts will be easy to find.
 






Is there anyone who knows how to do this? Maybe a video outlining the steps? It is not entirely clear to me.

I put a 2” body lift on my 03 sport trac last year and documented some of it. Maybe helpful
Let me search the thread and see if I can point out the body lift stuff
I replaced all Body mounts with urethane and then put the 2”’lift on top Of it
