2nd gen Eddie Bauer Explorer trim

Hey guys, has anyone seen an Eddie Bauer explorer with fender/sidestep trim painted a different color? I have a blue EB with the tan trim and was wondering how a black trim or a gunmetal trim might look. If anyone has any input, or even pictures that would be great.

I wanna know the same thing i got a 96 EB but its red and wanna paint the tan a dark gray.

I haven't done it, but I have seen it done. There was a thread not too long ago with pics of painting the trim.

i have a black 95 eddie bower and painted my trim black, mines all blacked out now and tooks pretty good

i used krylon fusion flat black. Ill probably be re doing it soon as it's got some chips in it. Next time ill use a gloss black and clearcoat it so it will be longer lasting
