I finally grew up, joined the big boys, and bought a 48" all cast Hi-Lift jack.

On the rear of my truck, I can use the receiver hitch cross bar, the jack "cup" fits around it nicely.

However, what should I use on the front? Think the stock steel bumper is strong enough? What does everyone use?

Here are a few pics of the front of my truck:

You would need to have some sliders built for a side jacking point. As far as the front end I would get some metal slides made for the jack to mount against. The steel bumper will bend well before the truck lifts at all.
