2nd Gen Motors In 3rd Gen Explorers

Hi New To The 4.0L World... And Was Wondering If The 2nd Gen Long Blocks Could Home All The 3rd Gen Accessories Mounting Brackets Intake Valve Covers And All... I Have A 2004 That Had A Timing Chain Snap With 133,x.. On It And It Seems The 2nd Gen Motors Go For A Lot Cheaper Then The 3rd Gen Ones Just Didn't Know If The Block And Heads Would Be Compatible With The 3rd Gen Accessories Any Info Will Help.. Thank You!!

Everything in the engine bay of a 2nd and 3rd gen is pretty much identical. It's the same engine model name and everything so it should just drop right in.
