The "Armour" will come in handy if your truck is ever sitting on its belly needing to be dragged out. Better then having the gas tank, transfer case ect.. digging into the mud..

What skid plate are you making? One up front for the radiator? I have one there, everyone who does any wheeling should. I definitely tested mine out last time, it works.

I am building one that replaces the factory plastic and protects the radiator...

What I built so far
2"x2" .090" wall and 1.25" .130" wall tubing which I bent in my harbor freight pipe bender...

Me playing with my 3200hd welder and welding dirty .25 steel plate (aka old broken leaf spring) and testing out new but old welding helmet which I had to fix with a fix shade instead of auto shade...
