2nd Gen Steering wheel in 1st Gen Trac?

Has anyone ever swapped the 1st gen's steering wheel with a loaded 2nd gen?

I want the stereo and temp controls in my 01.

i see one complication with this is that your stock deck is not can-bus style like the 2nd gen also your enviromental controls will need to be the electronic auto climate to even have a chance of it working. the road to achieve this will be grueling so good luck

A couple people have swapped in the EATC/steering wheel controls. It boils down to getting a full dash harness and all the necessary modules and sensors. If you can find a good donor that matches your truck ('99-'01 expo/mountaineer) then you're set.
