2nd row seat problems

Hey i have an 08 explorer with 3rd row seating
The issue is the 60/40 2nd row seat, the 60 part wont lift up to allow access to the 3rd row seats
the 40 part, "froze" and wont lock into place. so nobody can sit in this seat. the side handle on the 40 seat broke at the same time.
anybody have any solutions

Hi, I have an '03 and the seat directly behind the driver side is stuck. I cannot get it to lock in an upright position. Is there any way to correct this problem with out taking the car to the dealship for repairs?

You would probably have better luck posting this in the correct forum - This is for 2006-2010 which I believe has a different seat design.
