So i know the output shaft is the last thing to leave the trans. But if I were getting it rebuilt anyways, could I just throw in the 4x output shaft? Is just the splined end bigger, or is it the whole shaft? I figure its just as easy to pay a transmission guru to swap shafts on a trans that I already know is good, as it would be to pull a junkyard trans and have it rebuilt. Let me know your opinions.
