Fellows. Have a 3.0 V6 in my 02 Ranger. The L/H valve cover is leaking. I watched a couple YouTube videos about the gasket replacement and they show removing the intake to gain access to the covers. Is that necessary?
The hold down bolts on my covers have a long stud that protrudes thru the head of the bolt. I dont know if a deep socket will fit over this stud in order to turn the bolts. Do you need a special deep socket to remove/install these bolts?
