3"-4" Lift

I am looking to get between 3" and 4" of lift from my Explorer. The thing is, I don't have the money to buy a 3" or 4" lift for $800. My original plan was to put on a 2" Skyjacker Lift and a 2" body lift but I really don't want to mess with both of them(and my dad told me he won't help me with them anymore). So I was wondering if it is possible to get 3" or 4" of lift from my X by putting a 2" Skyjacker lift, coil spring spacers, and Warrior shackles. From what I have heard though, the shackles don't really give you the full 2". Is this true. If this will work, I would rather try to do this than both. PLEASE HELP.

You will get just over 3 inches of lift going with that set up. Probably close to 3.5 I would do it that way anyway, then add a BL later if need be.
