I didnt know he was going and installing subs already. What kind of Amps did you get?

Well my friend has a sony xplod 1000 watt that i am gonna use for a little while till i get some more money to get something better, prob a kenwood excelon or jbl, maybe even audiobahn, idk yet

If you havent bought subs yet, dont get those Comp 12's. I just looked up the ratings on those 300watts Peak? Thats WEAK. If you are going with Kicker, the lowest level Kicker you should get is the CompVR. I would go with Audiobahn, They make good subs.

thatll work. Power Ratings are the exact same as my subs. Talk to me when you want to buy your own amps because that Sony Amp is not even close to what you want.

Its the same except it plays MP3 and WMA files. It does have a remote. Read the Key Features and compare the 3600 and 4600 and decide what would be best for you. I dont use MP3 and WMA files so I didnt get the 4600. (or 4500 when I bought mine)

Never heard of Kole Audio. I keep up with the High-end and the mid-level stuff. So If It doesnt ring a bell, It probably falls in the low level sony, Lanzar, pyramid area. Let me go ahead and find the amps you want becaues your are so excited about it.

Two of those and wire them In parallel. You will love it. They are rated at 300Rms but they are closer to 350. I looked for the amp that was one level higher(351M) but couldnt find it on Ebay.

I know you want to buy cheaper stuff right now, but take it from somebody who already went through that. If I could do it over again, I would have bought subs twice as powerful and spent double on the amps, you seem to be a little less into it than me so this stuff will work out great for you. Dont buy an amp that isnt up to powering your subs. If you buy an amp thats on 350 or 300 x 2, its not going to work out as well as those two amps. It may be ok to have less power at first, but a few months in your going to say " Damn, I wish I would have spent more money and got better stuff." Im going to quote (I think its Expo5.0 but not positive) "Buy the best and only cry once."

Hey. Just putting my $0.02 cents in and I would go with a Kicker square sub. I have that in my car and no one touches it. For a really good amp but cost some money I would go with Phoenix Gold. I had kenwood amp before and then got the phoenix Gold amp and it crazy. Also do not go 8GA wire it is way to small, go with a 4GA. Just wanted let you know.

I agree with you, but not in this circumstance. Once again, Liv doesnt need a Pheonix Gold amp. They cost 400-500$ on Ebay, the amps i picked out will cost a little over 200$. Plus, the square kickers are overkill in this case. The compVR's will be great.

True I agree, but he should defenitly go with the 4GA wire and that will cover him if he ever upgrades plus gives him better wire now.
