3" lift Reviews?

I've seen mixed reviews on these. Some are concerned that they're only spot welded.

Before you consider 3” of front lift, how are the front end components like upper and lower ball joints, tie rod ends, CV jointsand of course struts?

3” spacers stress all of these components. You can see for yourself by jacking up the truck by the frame until your front crossmember is 3” higher. Note upper and lower ball joint angles as well as tie rods and CV joints. Check that the upper control arm clears the strut springs too.

If you go with the 3” lift, it’s good measure to change your ball joints, at the least the upper, with a high quality unit. I used greaseable Moogs top and bottom with my 2” spacer lift and I’m happy I did.

If you plan any serious off roading consider swapping to BTF upper control arms.

Hope this helps.
