3" Mono leaf Vs 2 1/2" 4 leaf springs

I've searched all over these forums and I'm pretty sure I want to swap my sport's mono leaf for the 4 leaf from a 4 dr explorer.

However, my mono leaf is 3" wide and all the vendor sites I can find show the 4dr explorer uses a 2 1/2' wide spring.

Are you just using some kind of spacers to center the springs or do some models come with a 3" wide spring??

i sawped mine and did not need spacers

There is a nut head on the bottom of the leaf spring it lines up in a hole in the spring hanger. The spring hanger is the same on mono and leaf pack.
