We got our Explorer about a year ago,its a 1997 Eddie Bauer, and the keyless entry remote worked then, but one day it stopped working and I can't find the right size batteries for it, and I have fittled with the remote so I will probably have to reprogram it, so I was wondering if someone can tell me the right size batteries, and how to reprogram it.

We also don't know code for the keypad on the door, we had a 96 bauer and there was a place where Ford stamped a master code, and I was wondering if there is a spot on the 97 like that, and if there is what steps do I take to make a new code?

All this information is in your manual.

The remote case tells you the battery size and so will any Ford dealer.

The location of your keycode is in the same place as your '96. The rear jack compartment deal. Grab a flashlight and go spilunking back there.

The master code is on a module located in the driver's side rear compartment.

Good luck.....
