I have a 3 to 3 1/4 inch lift from under 40 bucks. I got it brand new at advance auto parts. It uses coil boosters and drop shackles. If I could post picture of my ex on her I would show you.

Tire to wheel well spacing front:
Stock: 5 3/4 inch
3 inch lift(steel and rubber coil boosters): 7 1/4 inch

Tire to wheel well spacing rear:
Stock: 5 inch
3 inch lift(drop shackles): 7 inch

I have three rubber boosters in the front (horizontal) with two steel ones on each side.

and shackles for the rear that allow the rear leaf springs to be dropped three inches.

It definatly looks lifted and looks really mean next to a stock ex

but just a tip paint these new parts a dark color like black so they are not
seen easily.

I have 31X10's on it now. perfect combo looks really good.

You aren't talking about those crappy little coil spacers that you shove in between the coils are you?

yes...i believe he is

*ding* quick chime

your camber wont ever work that way. Its just not possible to align it right with that much longer of a spring and no I beam drop brackets. This will also make thr truck drive like crap.

B: 3 inch longer shackles do NOT provide 3 inches of lift.

if the numbers are right he only got 1 1/2" up front and 2" in back...so it could be alligned, but that just doesn't seem safe to me.

i've thought about putting some 1.5in longer coils in my truck with a small home built rear shackle lift, just so my tires don't rub the back of my frame so much during those flex times

OH my goodness.

F-150 spring seats for 1.5" of lift up front = $40-60, built to fit your truck, Ford parts. No stupid coil seperator pads or big urethane donuts.

With the spring seats alignment will not be a problem.

Warrior shackles in the back will get you 2" of lift approx back there to match.

Your coil booster lift sucks, because it will ride like crap and they will likely fall out anyways....cheap lift = crappy ride in most cases.

Anything over 2" of coil on the stock TTB will require drop bracketa at the axle pivots and radius arms :)
Have fun!

From what year f-150 will I need spring seats from?

When I get mine done over Christmas break I'll send you a message. We can meet up somewhere and you can see what you think. :D I can't wait.

Do a search for more information but an early to mid 90's F150 2wd. I got mine for about 18 bucks at the u-pull lot. They are strong, reliable, and a proven method for a small lift. Do not expect great offroad performance from them, they of course do not add any flex, however they will let you put a bigger tire on and give you more ground clearance than a body lift :)

Lol, whaddya know, the search function DOES work! Thanks guys...sorry bout that.

Personally I love the set up truck drives ok. even does good offroad, mostly for cosmetic look only, but it looks alright, it is even 3 inches taller.

Those coil spacers could come right out on you...you must be hangin out in Jewett City to much...lol
