- 2003 Explorer XLT
i have a 2003 Explorer, and I have experienced both left (driver's) side windows not working.
The Ford tech told me that both motors shorted. He got them to work again, and he said that they needed replacement. At roughly $255 per motor (including labor), I thought perhaps I could just do what he did to get them working again while I saved money to replace them myself.
What did he do to get them to work for the short term?
