Clyde - what are your plans for your roof rack? If you have crossbars, I'd be interested in getting them from you.

Yeah, but I am going to keep the rack just in case.

Thanks man. I contemplated it for a while but in the end I decided to go with the black because of all the X's I saw around here with wheels on them, only one I saw had black wheels. They look really good with the dark tint in contrast to the silver paint. I think when I get the black badges on there it will look really nice.

got some new pictures of the ex after washing it tonight. i also got a new toy, it is a wilson 1000 magnet 62 whip antenna.

If you are on a trip with multiple vehicles its an easy way to stay in touch without cell phones and a way to keep from getting bored.

When offroading its good to have to pass info down the convoy about what's coming up on the trail, or if someone's having issues with their truck to let everyone know.

On the highway I can get info on accidents up the road from truckers or other CB users who see it and can pass info in it.

Also a way of contacting the police in an emergency via channel 9.

Mine has a built in weather channel that you can get weather forecast/severe weather updates on.

i went and got mine cleaned up today to wash off all the mud

Y isnt the brush gaurd thing in pic 3 not on in pic 2

because i hit a deer killed it and twisted the guard

also that grader got stuck so they brought another grader and it almost got stuck trying to ge grader #1 out this was on our second day of bieng stuck when 2 140G wouldnt work they brought in a trackhoe/excavator from gunnison and pulled us out via a rope on the bucket attached to the front suspension

No body damage?

Assuming no bad damage was done, those are awesome pics!

no damage apart from the left rear tire got the bead unseated a bit and used 3/4 of a tank to try on our own the mud was up to my knees but dry dirt on top one guy in a navajo got stuck on the same part as we did he got some one with a winch to get him out and his 4wd was brocken stuck there for 2 weeks since the road leading up amasa valley was washed out yet somehow a 3rd gen could make it:p:

No body damage?

that guard weighs 100 pounds and would sway back and fourth when driving
when i hit the deer no it the deer was a good 275 i weigh 169 i used some fancy ropework to hoist it up onto the roof

That deer did you a favor...

Get some better tires once the current ones wear out and you'll go a little farther and get stuck a little deeper:p: Looking forward to more mudding pics!
