Here's some of my latest updates! Rola roof rack with 4 Hella 500FF's. Also purchased 2 sets of 6000K HIDs for them but still haven't had time to get the wiring done. Hopefully sometime next week I'll have a writeup done on how to install HIDs into the Hellas. Enjoy!!

Thanks guys!! Power wires are from a Blue Seas fuse block. The switch wires are routed through inside of the fender and then through a grommet to the kick panel. The switches are in the overhead console and I have yet to run the power to the lights themselves. But I think Im going to run them up through the headliner and then through the roof at the roof rack mount. Ill make sure to take some pics.

You really make me want to make a light bar on my roof.

As for the HIDs in Hellas, I did it on my set of grille mounted lights. I had to drill a hole in the back of the plastic cover to allow the wires for the light to come straight out of. Rather simple conversion.

How do u like them lights. Are they just as bright as the stock ones. Im thinking about getting a set. idk yet, i havent made up my mind. I think they would look good on mine cause of the color of my explorer

Yeah they're good lights. I haven't noticed a difference in the brightness, so I'd say go for em.

miller looks awesome ... got a new background :D

Hey thanks alot for the compliments guys! The next day I have off of work is Monday, so hopefully the weather cooperates and I can finish the wiring. All I have left is the power wires to the lights. Still not sure how to run them up to the rack though :(

where did you get the rack? did you make mounts for the lights?

EBAY!!! haha its a Rola rack which is also available from etrailer.com. The light mount tabs are also from ebay. In fact, everything on my roof is from ebay except the Hellas themselves. All the HIDs were ebay, as well as the fuse block and switches.

Oh yeah, I still need 06+ mirrors!!

Sadly I can't post pictures of my latest adventure since my friend wasn't suppose to really be wheeling. My buddy got his 98 TJ on 33" or 35" with a 2" body lift up to the frame in snow and ice. Explorer to the rescue tugged him right outta the slippery stuff. The chain had to go on my frame since it wouldn't fit the Class II hitch. May or may not have tweaked my rear bumper from the chain, but only slightly enough to bug my OCD.

Went for a spin today and took some pics
