well if 2 12's can rape 3 13w7's with one of his enclosures...then 3 13w7's in one of his enclosures will rape 2 12's.......idk i want something pretty ridiculous, and ive only seen 2 trucks with 3 w7's, and i just like the way the look and sound...now i checked out that link you gave that audiopulse LMS ultra 15" looks very impressive...but its like over a grand! some guy on youtube has 2 18" and his windshield cracks and crazy stuff like that!...pete K, is that the toxic bass guy? i think his name is pete. Im in no way that much of a fan of JL but i honestly cant really beat the price im getting. or should get unless they do something stupid which they most likely will. 1500$ for a box i know is completely insane, but i think the finished product would look amazing which is a plus. i really want fibeglass due to the weight savings im GUESSING i have not weighed a fiberglass box and a mdf so i am unsure. Still asking for input on that topic.

oh also if pete k who you referred to is the toxic bass guy, his video on you tube of the hairtrick with 2 13w7's is very impressive! now i want that box but for 3 of them ...im really gonna be pissed if the shop jacks their price up..then im going to have to move onto that pioneer SPL15

More is not always better. Depends on the vehicle and application...trying to cram 10lbs of **** in a 5lb bag doesn't really work too well.

cool deal man, i put crystal white pearl or something like that, i believe it was white, the red changed my factory color so much i would have had to paint the doorjams and hood and all that, it made it look like a copper color it was crazy, and blue didnt stand out enough...

I'd take this over three of the 13W7's any day. It will take that amp all day long without a sweat. Build a nice enclosure and the lows will be crazy. Cost a lot less also.

In the right box, three 13w7s will have a lot more output than that single sub and still sound amazing.

aznboi, i punched it into bass box pro 6 and got 18 cuft. total after sub displacement, not sure if thats with port displacement, i keep getting some crazy suggested port sizes...

Do a slot ported box. 12.5 cubes GROSS (after sub & port displacement) is what JL recommends. You can go to their website and download the owner's manual as a PDF and they actually do show their recommended box designs. You could go a little bigger, but I would stay pretty close to their recommendations. They do a lot more research and testing than any of us ever could.

That's a BIG box, but it will fit. Good luck!

so far ive got one shop said they could match the 1500$ price, and 2 shops that said they wont even touch it, saying my amp doesnt really put out 3000W RMS and even if it did id need a larger alternator, and they need to double baffle the top of a fiberglass box, and this and that and how expensive it is and blah blah blah...pretty much none of them have put more than 2 w7's in anything. so far its the local shop ill just have to wait a month before getting the box made.

but on a completely different subject, if you picked up youre local world dredging mining and construction magazine...IM ON THE COVER...ok im not really on the cover but im on the thing thats on the cover...probably painting the digging marks but still! im on there somewhere lol
