4 inch ranger spindle lift

My 1996 expo’s front end is going out so I figure it’s time for an entire replacement. I’m looking around in other threads on here and I see some people talking about how a ford ranger edge spindle lift will fit a 2wd explorer so I’m wondering is this just a straight bolt on process or am I gonna have to trim my lca. It’s a lot more cheaper than the explorer spindle lift I found on eBay but if it comes down to it I guess I’ll have to spend the money. as I recall it i believe it is direct bolt, but have never done it personally. at least the 4wd ranger spindles will go onto a lifted 4wd (as long as the lift is right height etc)

Yes the ranger edge spindle lift will bolt into the explorer. You will have to run ranger brake rotors though (they are larger and an upgrade). Just make sure the spindles are from a torsion bar ranger and not a coil spring ranger.
