Having problems with no 4wd in auto, 4high and 4low. Bought a salvage yard transfer case and before I put it in I want to see if anyone knows if there should be continuity from the brown wire to the case. The one I bought does and the one in the truck does not. Shift motor is working fine as I have low but no 4wd in low or hi or auto. Ruled out front diff as tires spin in opposite directions and front drive shaft is engaging front diff but transfer case is not locking front diff to rear diff. 2000 ford explorer 4.0 Eddie Bauer. Appreciate any thoughts.
