i have a 92 explorer and yesterday 3 hours from home the 5spd froze up. u can jam it into gear but a clanking noise comes from the clutch the clutch is reletively new and i think it came with a bad throwout bearing. a friend of mine has a 2000 ranger with a 4cyl and 30,000 miles with a 5spd. he is giving me the tranny so will a 4cyl tranny bolt up if i exchange the bellhousing with my current one?
