4th Gen Explorer Pictures

Great looking ride, King. Was wondering if you could tell me the name/brand/size specs of the tires your running in your pics. Do you have any rubbing issues with the combo of those wheels/tires with the truxx lift?

Thanks

Not really a pic of my truck, but obviously related to my truck. So here's some pics of the little project I finished tonight in a time frame of about 45-hour. Re-wrapping my sub box before I install everything. Amp mounting/wiring/head unit coming soon.

and the finished product, REALTREE print. You can pick up REALTREE, MossyOak, other camo prints etc. from Joann Fabrics or ALMOST any Wallmart, by the yard.

To my surprise there isn't any rubbing.

Awesome. Tires are probably the next thing I'll upgrade since I'll need them eventually anyway. I feel like the ones it came with are too small and they make it look less macho than it should.

Also, did you paint your grille black or did you buy a black one?

I always felt like I was riding around on oversized car tires but not anymore.

I had the grille painted black.

Asull, the X looks great! I think yours is the best looking without the running boards I have ever seen. Usually I don't care for the no boards look but yours wears it well.

Thanks man. Those tires were 285/75/16's, Mastercraft CT's. The CT was a good tire, it lasted me forever! And the rubbing was quite bad. But all I needed to do was trim the plastic crap inside the fender lol. But even when it did rub it was still worth it to me. I think 33's are a perfect size with the truxxx.

dang and one more thing is that since i got it i have taken off the running boards so it makes it look a little higher and i won't hit my leg getting out of it like i usually do. lol

Looks good. Any difficulty keep the "soft 8's" balanced?

Not even. And on the road they run smooth as can be. Even going 90 on the freeway. Sometimes when I come home late and theres no traffic on the freeway I run even a little faster and it's so smooth it literally feels like the truck leaves the pavement and starts flying, lol. Also those soft squishy 33's really help the ride too;)
