Looks very clean! I normally am not one for any scoops or extra things but I don't mind that hood scoop terribly. Kind of reminds me of a 4runner

thanks lift kit was a pain to put in with all front end parts and i drained all the axles and put new seals in the axles and i think that a d4 axle is a limted slip 373 so i put limted slip gear lube in rear and standard in front axle is that right? and i used valvoline transfer case oil because there is so much bull about what oil to use i hope that was right would you know? it has only been about 10 days so i can change it if i had to. thanks

Out checking Mom's property, just felt like taking a picture.

your rims are only 7.5 inches wide so tire will not be as wide as they should and that rim is to small for that tire i have 265 65 18 0n 10 inch rims so they are 11. 5 wide

Goodyear recommends 275/70r18 as the biggest Duratrac to mount on a 18/7.5 inch rim.

i think your tires last longer if the tire is laying flat to the ground and not rounded my tires are smaller that yours but wider because of the wider rims.

Looks flat to me.

Drove this turd basket over 1,000 miles on two separate road trips over the last 4 weeks. I'd like to do more to this thing but I'm really trying to buy a 5th gen Sport instead and pass this 4th gen over to my wife. I do have some manifolds and stainless steel studs ordered to finally take care of the exhaust leak that has plagued me for the last 4ish years. She's starting to rust behind the back passenger door and spotted another spot on the roof. She's rounding 150k miles and will probably need another transmission pan drop/fluid replacement along with new fluids in the transfer case. I do love this Explorer even if it's given me a bunch of headaches.

Picture of mine... Bought it with a few issues here and there but just recently had my 05 totaled and needed another rig so went to an 06. 150k for $3,500. Had to fix the rusted roof, missing fog light and she's pretty much good to go. Just purchased some Cerakote Trim Coat because the sides are super faded. Picture I took was after applying some Slick Products but in Florida Sun+Rain = back to how it was within a month so gonna try the Cerakote next. Been thinking of getting some Adrenaline wheels those look pretty sick.

How much did it cost to paint the roof?

did it align ok with the new upper control arm it looks really heavy duty and longer than stock.

mahem 18x10 rims with 5.39 back spacing and 78.3 ctn bore and +10mm offset with 275x65x18 toyo open country 3 tires and 3 inch suspension lift from supreme suspension front and back had front end aligned and drives great from 0 to 80 no hands straight down the road just make sure u retighten rims after 25 miles

I honestly barely notice it. It seems to handle corners fine, I haven't noticed any bump steer, and ride quality seems unchanged. I definitely noticed it in a positive way when I went off roading this last weekend. I wouldn't have even tried a lot of the obstacles I did without the lift

use mine on old logging trails in the upper Michigan hauling my kayaks or 15 ft fishing boat that 373 limted slip works great and 3 inch lift kit and tires give me enough clearance to run thru anything out there so far.
