1994, 4 door, push button 4x4. The indicator light at the 4x4 high button stays on. 4x4 is not engaged (drive shaft turns freely and no binding on a hard turn). The test button on the control box in left rear indicates transfer case (flashes 4 times). Pulled electric motor at transfer case and the shaft is pointing to 4x2 mode. When I push the 4x4 button I can hear the box in left rear click twice as if it is trying to engage or disengage. The motor apparently is not rotating the shaft. Any suggestions prior to my committing to any parts?
