Just curious how everyone's trucks start when it's well below zero.

Never an issue. A healthy 5.0 will start in - 30 with no problems.

Motor should start perfectly fine, whether the battery will allow it at that temperature is a different story.

I was impressed with mine last winter. 300k. Fired right up in -30 no problem.

Mine starts fine now in the Winter now that I have a battery with enough cold cranking amps and amps in general. I replaced a battery that was too small and was constantly out gassing and because it was too small was constantly discharging making the large alternator work too much leading to the outgassing.
It doesn't get near as cold here in north Alabama like it does in many other parts of the U.S. and Canada!

-30 or 130 the 5.0 does not care
start run drive the 302 is a BEAST
I lived at 9000' with sideways wind that would knock you down on the ice, wind chill well below freezing, Bronco II entombed in snow and ice from the previous day of snow bashing....pry the frozen drivers door open, crack your feet on the frozen lake that is the drivers floor mat, insert key and turn......vroom starts up just like the day it was installed
