5.0 owners, performance

for people who have or had a 5.0 with a cai and exhaust work, but kept their stock headers, no chip.. was there a performance increase?

definitely, the CAI was a noticeable improvement.

this is what im planning, mac intake for the 98 explorer 5.0, and dual exhaust, with no manifold work and no chip (maybe a chip later)

I picked up around 3 to 4 tenths of a second with a CAI, and exhaust from the first set of cats back (deleted rear cats) I never got to run mine done the track in stock for but i've seen numbers around 17.3 to 17.4, and I ran a 17 flat with just those mods.
