Any on here? Any using a 5 speed?
I'm picking my old 97 2wd 5spd explorer sport from a friend for a mint (low mileage, white, Was an FL Car all its life until winter before last)
He roasted a shift fork inside the transmission it sounds like, and I'm a HUGE fan of the blown 5.0 in my ranger. My ranger is Supercharged also now and is not very good as far as daily driving.... but I love the guts of the 5.0, and it looks as to be a nearly drop in swap for the explorer sport as it was for my ranger.
Any input guys? any thread links I'm missing?
