5.0l upper manifold removal

Have to pull my upper manifold to fix a leaking fuel injectors. I have everything but the pcv pulled off the manifold, any tips/tricks for getting it off?

You might have the best luck by removing the egr valve from the intake, assuming you have the later external EGR. You'll probably need to procure a new egr gasket for that, unless you have it in your kit already.


The flange nuts on either end of the egr tube can be locked in place.

The large electric connector right above the intake needs to be disconnected, ramoved and the bracket also removed. Now you will be able to access the pcv
