Just curious if anyone has gone up against a 5.9 Durango. Not the RT, just the regular 5.9 SLT. Friend just bought one and thinks it's "the shizit". I figure I have about a 400-500 pound weight advantage, but a 40-45 lb ft torque disadvantage.
I couldn't find any reliable performance numbers for the Durango, but Edmunds did a SUV comparo where the new 4.6 X killed that big 5.9. I know the 4.6 will whip a stock 5.0, but I am at least running a KKM, FMS headers and Borla/Saleen exhaust.
Can I hand this 5.9 it's rear, or should I just keep my fool mouth shut? Not one to be the competitive type, but I wouldn't mind showing him how a "little" 5.0 can run!
