Does anyone here think its possible to put a 5.9L CUMMINS 12V into my 91 Explorer, i know a 3.9L CUMMINS 8V would be pretty easy. what do you think?

Hacksaw...

That's a pretty big engine! You might have to cleas the engine bay out quite a bit...

yeah or cut the firewall, but can u imagine the power. i would have to box the frame and put 3/4 or 1ton axles under there to handle that much power

Its been done in a few rangers 2wd and 4wd. You better have a fat wallet. I am also looking toward to a 5.9L cummins swap in my exploder If the excess funds ever fall into my hands. Ive been looking for a running swap truck. Ive found quite a few 89-90s trucks for under 2000
Well someday I hope to make it happen. the toughest part would be stifening the chassis up and all new running gears; suspesion, springs, rear end, crossmember, x braces you name it. I hope someday ill be able to dig in. I have found many full running 89-90 cummins rams for under 2000.

here is a few rangers that have doen the swap one is 2wd and the other is 4wd
