5-Speed Shifter

Ok I assume some of you guys with the older Explorers, like myself, may have had this problem in the past.

I have a 91 with a Manual 5 Speed. The shift bar now spins all the way around when I try to shift gears, making it totally unusable. I assume something is worn out. Anyone had to replace the shift bar before?

have you tried tightning it down again?

ive never had it actually spin all the way around before.

do a search for Hurst Shifters. they make a Short Throw shifters for our trucks
