5r55s whine in overdrive

Here's what I have, 2005 Mustang 4.0 V6 5r55s automatic transmission, have had the usual problems with transmission, delayed reverse, then harsh engagement and 2nd -3rd gear over rev. Those problems solved with rebuild. After taken possession of car, complained about whine when shift into overdrive, did not have this whine prior to rebuild, of course they say it is a differential noise, makes noise when under power and goes away when coasting. Noise is a higher pitch than a ring and pinion noise and goes away when removed from overdrive.
Anybody have a similar experience?

Problem solved, told trans shop to put a different trans in, some how the noise went away. Amazing how a shop will tell you another part of the vehicle is causing your problem, when you didn't have that problem before they work on your vehicle.
