5R55W & 5R55S transmission compatibility.

I am new on this forum, hoping to find some answers and suggestions regarding my 02 Ford Explorer.
I have a question regarding the 5r55w and the 5r55s transmission models.
Can I replace my 5r55w for the 5r55s model?
What are the differences exactly?
