Hi Guys,
I just did a filter change on a 2004 Explorer with a 5R55W and I have a couple of questions :
1) Are the original transmission filters marked Ford / Motorcraft ? The one I took out doesn't have any markings and I am wondering if it was changed by a PO.
2) With just dropping the pan and replacing the filter, how many quarts does it usually take to fill back up ? I put 6 in but am not sure how much drained out.
