5R55W reverse servo has fluid in it

I have a quick question.
My reverse servo has tranny fluid in it like it's leaking past the piston seal. I replaced the piston and it's still doing it. Is it ok for there to be fluid there? Also if the fluid control valve in the servo body is sticking could that cause the fluid to be where it is??

Welcome to this forum! Do you have an issue with low & reverse gear settings? Are there any codes? Hydraulic fluid moves the servo piston to engage a band.

No codes just reverse not engaging right. Cold it's ok warned up it slips in gradually or not at all. 1st braking is fine so band is good

Try using Transtec D rings on the servo instead of the standard rubber O rings.

That's the center ring right? Not the outer piston ring that's fuses with the servo?

I looked up the servo, and saw that they changed the whole design so they don't use those separate rings. The servo is now bonded. Here's a link: 5R55S 5R55W transmission servo piston 5R55S 5R55W transmission

Yes that is the part I replaced with a new one. It still has fluid above it in the housing. Is there anywhere else the fluid could come from?

That is my exact problem. I just wish the customer came back to say if that fixed it. I'm going to go ahead with his suggested solution and buy a new servo. Thank you so much, I feel much better about it now.
