6.5 midbass and 6.5 subwoofers

hey everyone i was looking around and saw some 6.5 inch sub woofers.

now im curiouse to know if 6.5 inch subwoofers would sound good in the rear doors of my car. would u get more bass and would they sound better then some mid bass speakers.

i was planing on geting those mid bass. but if those subs are better ill get those.. what do you all think.

well it depens on how much your running to your subs.... btu i would go for the mid bass because your explorer will sound better because more frenquency's will be amplified

i will be putting about 110 watts to each speaker.

the midbass are free air speakers, while the subs are ment to be run in an enclosure.

don't forget...subs generally have large magnets. That might be a problem for your doors considering you have windows that need to go up and down. You may be looking at a fabrication job here.

I have been planing to put my front 6.5" components in to kickpods that I have now. And bet 6.5" woofers for the front doors, amplified of course. The measurements I have so far say it would fit. I say go for it!

i will be wanting to put 6.5 inch midbass in the front with tweeters. amd then put the 6.5 subs in the back panels. i have a 95 explorer sport and i heard since there are no back doors that there is atlest 7 inch of clearance. so wat u all think about that. good idea or no?

Yes, there is tons of room in the back. I Have huge components with my amps behind them. So yea, you can fit subs back there even in an enclousre.
